I have been tutoring for the last 9 years and teaching for the last 3. I am an education major with a minor in psychology. In addition I have taken several child development classes. I tutor all ages/grades and I specialize in tutoring math and science. I am well-experienced in tutoring children with learning disabilities. Hobbies
My hobbies are tutoring! I could teach all day and everyday. It is something I never get bored of. Aside from this I also enjoy traveling and learning about other cultures. I am new to The Netherlands and to learning the Dutch language. I am a native English speaker from the US. I have never had an issue connecting with my students. I am not a serious or stern person; I take into account my students learning styles and abilities. We all learn differently, but I have had the opportunity to learn about child and adolescent development which is a great tool when it comes to tutoring. Sometimes students learn better with a friend or sibling, so I tutor one on one or group-sessions: it is up to you! I love working with all ages. Everyone we meet will always know something that we don’t- what seperates me from the rest (in my experience) is that I respect my students as intellectual individuals, high-lighting their strengths while aiding their weak points.
